Andras Lasso is a Senior Research Engineer with the Laboratory of Percutaneous Surgery, Queen’s University, specialized in translational research and system development for minimally invasive interventions. He is a Lead Contributor of open-source software packages, including 3D Slicer and PLUS toolkit, which are used by academic groups and companies worldwide. He worked for nine years with GE Healthcare, developing advanced image analysis, fusion, and guidance applications for interventional medical devices.
