At present, my work revolves around the eco-epidemiology of zoonotic diseases, particularly those transmitted by vectors. My general interest is to understand the multidimensional processes affecting disease transmission, aiding in the design of improved intervention strategies involving multiple actors: decision-makers, health authorities, communities, and researchers. Another area of interest is linked to phenotypic variability in insect vectors, which is determined by environmental factors.
