I work at the intersection of science and engineering to help build the next generation of sensors and sensing systems needed to grow our understanding of the earth system and how it is changing over time. My focus is on instrumentation development for chemical measurements in water, construction and deployment of automated sensor systems, and design of intelligent, adaptive signal processing methods.
