Dr. Amira M. Hamdan, is a Professor in Marine Microbiology, Oceanography Department, Faculty of Science, Alexandria University. I obtained my PhD from Kyushu University, japan, in the field of Marine Microbiology in 2009. Since then, I had been involved in several research projects related to the use of probiotics in fish farms, bacteriocin production, biofuel production and bioremediation of heavy metals and petroleum hydrocarbons. Moreover, I had the opportunity to make collaborative research projects with Japan and Italy in the field of biofuel production and bioremediation of agricultural wastewaters, respectively. I participated in many international conferences and invited to join the closure meeting of CREAM project in Barcelona, Spain, in 2014. Also I supervised many master and PhD theses and published and reviewed many international research articles.
