Alice D'Onofrio

Worked in several research groups throughout Europe (PharmD from University of Bologna 2012, Experimental thesis at Complutense University of Madrid and a second Master in Synthesis, Catalysis and Sustainable Chemistry from University of Lyon 1 2014) gaining considerable experience in the synthesis, purification and characterization of organic compounds. In November 2015 joined the Radiopharmaceutical Sciences group at C2TN in Lisbon, as Marie Curie Fellow of MEDICIS-Promed (https://medicis.cern/medicis-promed). Completed the PhD in September 2020 on the development of "Clickable Radiocomplexes for Cancer Theranostics" working on the synthesis, characterization of clickable compounds, their radiolabelling with different isotopes of medical interest and their preclinical evaluation. After the PhD, I was working in the same group as a Post-Doc Researcher in the development of nanoparticles for theranostic applications. Currently working as a Post-Doc Researcher of the University of Bern at the Radiopharmacy Lab of the Inselspital in the development and preclinical evaluation of novel radiotracers for in vivo imaging and therapy of tumors.
