Alexis Mcintyre

Alexis McIntyre received the B.Sc. degree in spatial information science and physical geography from the University of New South Wales, Sydney, NSW, Australia, in 2006. She received a scholarship to pursue the M.Sc. degree in geo-information science and Earth observation for environmental modeling and management through a European Commission Erasmus Mundus joint programme at four universities across Europe: Southampton University, U.K., Lund University, Sweden, Warsaw University, Poland, and ITC at the University of Twente, Netherlands, which she received in 2010. She joined Geoscience Australia, Symonston, ACT, Australia, in 2011, where she is currently an Earth Observation Scientist. She has contributed to the development of a range of continental products including the Dynamic Land Cover Map of Australia and Water Observations from Space. Her research interests include the analysis of time-series remote sensing data and environmental modeling.
