A. S. Krylov

Alexander A. Krylov received the M.S. degree in photonics from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology, Dolgoprudny, Russia, in 2003, and the Ph.D. degree in laser physics from the Fiber Optics Research Center, Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS), Moscow, Russia, in 2009. From 2000 to 2004, he worked for IPG Photonics Corp., Fryazino, Russia, as a Junior Researcher, being a Leader of several projects aiming at different fiber laser designing and manufacturing. Since 2011, he has been working as the Head of the ultrafast lasers research group with the Fiber Optics Research Center, RAS. He is the Author of the pioneer study of the ultrashort pulse laser based on the newly developed Bismuth-doped active fiber and more than 30 articles and conference proceedings papers. His research interests include fundamental study of the ultrashort pulse fiber lasers and their applications, nonlinear effects, light modulation techniques, acousto- and electro-optics, and crystallooptics.
