Alessandro Gretter

Alessandro Gretter, Italian received education in Economics (Trento, Italy) and Environmental Economics (Siena, Italy) and ended his academic education obtaining a PhD in Geography (Leopold Franzens Universität Innsbruck, Austria). He has been involved in research and local development in the mountain and rural context, with a particular focus on Italian Alps (Europe) for over 20 years. He works at the Research and Innovation Center of the Edmund Mach Foundation in San Michele all’Adige (Trento, Italy). Affiliated to the Groupe de Recherche en Education à l'environnement et à la Nature (GREEN) of the Université de la Vallée d 'Aoste (Aosta, Italy), he has participated in and coordinated various cooperative projects at international and local level (INTERREG; EIT CLIMATE-KIC, EIT FOOD, ARPAF). Former member of the Landscape Observatory of the Autonomous Province of Trento, he is currently a member of the Action Group n. 7 "Connectivity Ecology - Green Infrastructures" of the European Macrostrategy for the Alpine Region (EUSALP)
