Alessandro Faro

Alessandro Faro (Member, IEEE) received the master's degree in mechanical and industrial engineering, in 2020 from the Roma Tre University, Rome, Italy, where he has been working toward the Ph.D. degree in mechanical and industrial engineering with the Department of Engineering, Center of Power Electronics and Drives since 2020. His research focuses on the control aspect for medium voltage power converters in railway applications, which involves the use of hardware-in-the-loop real-time simulators and FPGA-based control platforms.
