J Alberto Diaz-Quinonez

Alberto is currently working in the Infectious Hazard Management Unit, PAHO. He served as Director General of the Institute of Epidemiological Diagnosis and Reference (InDRE), Ministry of Health in Mexico. Under his leadership, the World Health Organization designated four departments of InDRE as Collaborating Centres (WHOCC). He served as Director in three of them: 1) WHOCC for Training on Malaria Microscopy Diagnosis, 2) WHOCC for Arboviruses, and 3) WHOCC on Laboratory Biosafety.
