Ahmed Mekkawy received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in electronics and electrical engineering department from the Faculty of Engineering, Cairo University, Cairo, Egypt, in 2014 and 2017, respectively. He is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering with the City University of New York, New York, NY, USA. From 2015 to 2017, he was a Research Assistant with the Center for Nanotechnology, Zewail, Egypt. His research interests include time-modulated microwave systems, analytical and computational analysis of electromagnetic problems, and linear and nonlinear optics.
