Ahmad Abdelfattah received the BSc and MSc degrees in computer engineering from Ain Shams University, Egypt, and the PhD degree in computer science from the King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), in 2015, where he was a member of the Extreme Computing Research Center (ECRC). He is currently a research scientist with the Innovative Computing Laboratory, University of Tennessee. He works on optimization techniques for different linear algebra workloads in the MAGMA library.
