Currently, his research interests are in the simulation of nanophotonics devices, including modeling of quantum emitters on optical metasurfaces, spasers, 2D materials, and transformation optics.
Dr. Kildishev's publications include (current h-factor: 61 Web of Science, 73 Google scholar) 9 book chapters, about 200 publications in peer-reviewed journals, with above 18,000 citations; more than 90 invited seminar talks and conferences presentations, more than 20 issued and pending patents (12 US patents), 11 software online simulation tools (with above 3,000 users and 52,000 jobs) staged at nanoHUB.org. Dr. Kildishev's research directions in the area of fields and optics (FO) include computational nanophotonics and nanoscale multiphysics, metasurfaces and metamaterials, 2D and refractory plasmonics, transformation optics, nanolasers and spasers, thermophotovoltaics, and super-resolution imaging techniques and devices.
