Dr. Brandão is a Clinical Microbiologist, and a full professor in the Department of Pharmacy, at the University of Brasília, Brazil. She holds a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology, and completed a Postdoctoral program in Immunology. Her researches focus on the microorganisms interactions, virulence, and pathogenicity. The current research revolves around the examination of the correlation between microorganisms and their ecological context. The primary objective is to harness these observations in order to devise innovative therapeutic methodologies.
