Abdul Rashid Husain

Abdul Rashid Husain (Member, IEEE) received the B.Sc. degree in electrical and computer engineering from The Ohio State University, Columbus, OH, USA, in 1997, the M.Sc. degree in mechatronics from the University of Newcastle Upon Tyne, U.K., in 2003, and the Ph.D. in electrical engineering (control) from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) in 2009. Prior joining the UTM, he worked as an Engineer in semiconductor industry for several years specializing in precision molding and IC trimming process. His research interests include the applications of control in dynamic systems, robot navigation, mechatronic system design, and electrical drives and motion control. He is a Graduate Member of the IEM.
