Alessandra Quarta

She received the Ph.D. in Innovative Materials and Technologies in 2008 at the Nanotechnology Laboratory of University of Salento, Italy, working on the development of biocompatible coatings for inorganic nanocrystals. During the post-doc at Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia in Genova, Italy, she worked on the preparation of magnetic nanocarriers for drug release. Currently, as researcher at CNR in Lecce, Italy, her research interests focus on two main subjects, the development of targeted inorganic nanoparticles for in vivo studies and the design of organic nanocarriers for bioimaging and delivery.
