Adam has an international track record for developing speech tests to guide decisions about brain function and quality of life in clinical medicine and drug development.

His team work towards improving speech, language and swallowing function in people with progressive and acquired neurological conditions

He undertook his early clinical training in the neurodisability service at Great Ormond Street Hospital London and continues to work as consultant speech pathologist for the Friedreich Ataxia Clinic, and the Eastern Cognitive Disorders Clinic, Melbourne and the National Ataxia Telangiectasia Clinic in Brisbane Australia.
