Alessandro Monfardini

Alessandro Monfardini was born in Brescia, Italy, in 1971. He received the master's degree from the University of Trieste, Trieste, Italy, in 1996. Since receiving the master's degree, he has developed systems, instruments, detectors, and software for a number of applications including astrophysics, particle and nuclear physics, and space studies. He is currently a Physicist with the CNRS, Paris, France, and the Research Director of the Nel Astrophysics Instrumentation Group. He has worked in Italy, Japan, the U.K., and France.
