Interests
The application of x-ray and neutron scattering techniques to study the structure and dynamics of condensed matter systems. In particular, my group has focused on (1) developing magnetic x-ray scattering as a tool for understanding magnetic phase transitions and the interplay between magnetism and superconductivity; (2) high-resolution x-ray scattering measurements of structure and disorder in quasicrystals; and (3) probing the structure of deeply undercooled liquids using electrostatically levitation and high-energy x-rays.
