David is working at CONACYT as a Research Professor in CIMAT-Monterrey. He has been mainly focused on the application of algorithms and simulations to solve biomedical related problems. The projects involve the use of high-performance computing, mathematical modelling, data analysis, programming (C/C++, Fortran, Python & Shell scripts), leading research teams and communicating the results to the lay audience.
