Andrew D. Burnett

Andrew D. Burnett received the Ph.D. degree in electronic and electrical engineering from the University of Leeds, in 2008, after completing his studies in chemistry with forensic science at the University of Bradford, in 2004. Then, he continued his work at the University of Leeds, first, as a Postdoctoral Fellow, funded firstly under the FP6 TERANOVA Project, and then under a Leverhulme Trust Project, to understand the THz spectral properties of protein crystals. In 2015, he moved to the School of Chemistry as a Teaching Fellow for Physical Chemistry. In 2017, he became a University Academic Fellow. In 2011, he was a recipient of an EPSRC Postdoctoral Fellowship. He moved to the Faculty of Biological Sciences, University of Leeds, where he continued his work on the THz spectra of biological molecules. In 2016, he received an EPSRC Early Career Fellowship.
