Dr Chougule is a pioneer in using Liquid Biopsy for EGFR testing. Her research work is oriented to understand the biological basis of various human cancers and to guide development of clinical therapeutics. She is involved in integrated characterization of somatic alterations of cancer-specimens by performing genome-wide analysis using Next Generation Sequencing (NGS). She has developed several cost effective molecular diagnostic tests in the area of Leukemia and Solid tumors.
