Md Rahman

Md Habibur Rahman (Member, IEEE) received the B.Sc. degree in electrical and electronic engineering from the Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology, Dhaka, Bangladesh, in 2007, and the M.Sc. degree in sustainable electrical power from Brunel University, London, U.K., in 2011. Since 2014, he has been a Ph.D. Researcher with the Department of Electronic and Electrical Engineering, University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, U.K. He is currently a Simulation Engineer with the National HVDC Centre, Cumbernauld, U.K. His research interest is mainly focused on multiterminal HVdc system concentrating on fault management, design of converters for HVdc applications, protection schemes, and control of power electronics. Mr. Rahman is a member of IET. He is an active contributor to the reviewing process of IEEE and IET Transactions and conferences.
