Stéphane Girard

Stéphane Girard received the Engineering degree in computer science from Grenoble INP–Ensimag, Grenoble, France, in 1993, and the Ph.D. degree in applied mathematics from the University of Cergy-Pontoise, Cergy, France, in 1996. From 1998 to 2006, he was successively an Associate Professor at the University of Montpellier, Montpellier, France, and the University of Grenoble, Grenoble, France. He is a Senior Researcher at the National Institute for Research in Digital Science and Technology (INRIA), Grenoble. His research interests include extreme-value theory and statistical learning.
