Giovanna Finzi

Giovanna Finzi has been full professor of Automatic Control since 1994 at the University of Brescia, where she currently teaches the courses of Modelling and Simulation and Complex Systems Control. She is coordinator of the Systems Control research team working in the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering on environmental decision support systems aimed to the study, management and planning of efficient strategies of pollution control and abatement. The results of her studies are published on many international journals and have been presented to relevant scientific conferences. She was appointed from Italian Scientific Research Ministry as national delegate in several COST Actions Management Committees. Since 2006 she was appointed by MIUR as national delegate both in EMEP TFMM and in the TF HTAP in the frame of the International International Convention LRTAP. She is member of IFAC TC on Modelling & Control of Environmental Systems, of AGU, IEEE.
