Ahmad Ali

Currently, I am a member of the Rapeseed Molecular Breeding Group, National Key Lab of Crop Genetic Improvement, Huazhong Agriculture University. I work under the supervision of Prof. Dengfeng Hong. My work is associated with QTL mapping and cloning for seed yield with a special focus on the initial ovule number in oilseed rape. I also have an interest in studying and analyzing plant microbe-interaction and Anthocyanin biosynthesis. The molecular study of evolution and ecology is also in my consideration.
