个人简介
Taeyoung (Jason) Choi received the B.S. degree from Konkuk University, Seoul, South Korea, in 1999, the M.S. degree in electrical engineering from South Dakota State University, Brookings, SD, USA, in 2002, and the Ph.D. degree from George Mason University, Fairfax, VA, USA, in 2018.
He is currently working at Global Science and Technology, Greenbelt, MD, USA, (a contractor to NOAA) performing radiometric calibrations for Suomi National Polar-orbiting Partnership (S-NPP) and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration-20 (NOAA-20) Visible Infrared Imaging Radiometer Suite (VIIRS) instruments. Before joining NOAA, College Park, MD, USA, he had been working for NASA Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) Characterization Support Team (MCST), Lanham, MD, USA, performing on-orbit radiometric calibrations for terra and aqua. Previously, he was involved in Landsat radiometric, geometric, and spatial calibrations since 1999 with various sensors such as IKONOS, QuickBird, Advanced Land Imager (ALI), Hyperion, Thematic Mapper (TM), and Enhanced Thematic Mapper Plus (ETM+).
