I have completed PhD (2020) in animal science from the Pennsylvania State University (PSU), United States. Previously, in 2012 and 2015, I have completed Doctor of Veterinary (DVM) and Master of Philosophy (M.Phil) in Veterinary Medicine, from the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS), Pakistan. Later, in 2016, I secured Fulbright scholarship for PhD from PSU. Before leaving for US, I have coordinated and managed UVAS’s farmer extension services for 3 years (2012-2015). I have a rural background and want to use efficient livestock management practices for uplifting socioeconomic status of deprived rural population of Pakistan. For that reason, I have plans to extend modern scientific knowledge to a common rural person in a way that they can apply.
