Jun Wu

Jun Wu (Senior Member, IEEE) received the Ph.D. degree in information and telecommunication studies from Waseda University, Japan, in 2011, where he is currently a Professor with the Graduate School of Information, Production and Systems. He is the Chair of IEEE P21451-1-5 Standard Working Group for Internet of Things. He is the author or the coauthor of more than 200 peer-reviewed journal/conference papers within the above-mentioned topics. His research interests include the intelligence and security techniques of Internet of Things, edge computing, big data, and 5G/6G. His publications have received a few distinctions, which includes the Best Paper Award of IEEE Transactions on Emerging Topics in Computing, in 2020, the Best Paper Award of International Conference on Telecommunications and Signal Process in 2019, the Best Conference Paper Award of the IEEE ComSoc Technical Committee on Communications Systems Integration and Modeling in 2018. He has served as the Track Chair for VTC 2019 and VTC 2020 and a TPC Member of more than ten international conferences, including ICC and GLOBECOM. He severs as an Associate Editor for the IEEE Systems Journal and IEEE Networking Letters. He has served as the Guest Editor for the IEEE Transactions on Industrial Informatics, IEEE Transactions on Intelligent Transportation, IEEE Sensors Journal, Sensors, and Frontiers of Information Technology & Electronic Engineering.
