Ricardo A Diogo

Ricardo Alexandre Diogo holds a BSc in Mechatronics Engineering, a Master's in Industrial & Systems Engineering, and a Ph.D. in Knowledge Engineering & Management. At PUCPR, he is responsible for the Institutional Modernization Program, improving the Engineering Education in the Polytechnic School. Ricardo was the Mechatronics Engineering program and Control & Automation Engineering program head for seven years. Ricardo teaches at the Polytechnic School for the following undergraduate programs: Mechatronics Engineering, Control & Automation Engineering, and Industrial Engineering. He also teaches some courses in Industry 4.0 lato sensu programs. Nowadays, he is the past president and current director of the International Society of Automation – Curitiba Section and a board member of the Specialized Chamber in Electrical Engineering of the Regional Council of Engineering and Agronomy of Parana. His topics of research interest are Educational Technologies, Engineering Education, and Smart Education.
