Amy Loviska is a fourth year graduate student at Purdue University in the Human Development and Family Studies department. Amy's research focuses on the interaction between biological (i.e., hormones, genetics, and prenatal risk) and social factors that influence adolescent alcohol initiation and use. They are particularly interested in how biological and social factors interact with gender and racial minority experiences in the development of adolescent alcohol use behaviors.
