I am currently investigating the therapeutic efficacy of allogeneic outgrowth endothelial cells (OECs), the functional subtype of endothelial progenitor cells (EPCs), in repairing neurovascular integrity and function in the experimental model of ischaemic stroke. I am also interested to assess the beneficial effect of cell-free strategy via OEC-derived conditioned medium (OEC-CM) as well as to understand the molecular mechanism underlying senescence development in OECs.
