O Guaresti

Olatz Guaresti Larrea has a PhD on Renewable Materials Engineering by the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU) and has been on stays at the University of Cambridge (UK) during her doctoral thesis. She joined Leartiker in 2021 as a researcher within the Health specialization focused on tissue engineering applications and regenerative medicine. Her research career is mainly focused on the development of biopolymeric hydrogels and strategies to engineer novel biomaterials to interact with biological systems. During the last 6 years, she has managed and developed several projects in collaboration with national and international entities, and she has published 17 scientific articles at high impact journals (h-index: 12). She has participated in more than 20 conference communications.
