Agata Wijata

Agata M. Wijata (awijata@ieee.org) received her M.Sc. (2015) and Ph.D. (2023) degrees in biomedical engineering at the Silesian University of Technology. Currently, she works as a researcher at the Silesian University of Technology, 44-800 Zabrze, Poland, and as a machine learning specialist at KP Labs, 44-100 Gliwice, Poland, where she has been focusing on hyperspectral image analysis. Her research interests include multi- and hyperspectral image processing, medical image processing, image-guided navigation systems in medicine, artificial neural networks, and artificial intelligence in general. She contributes to the Copernicus Hyperspectral Imaging Mission for the Environment from the artificial intelligence and data processing perspectives. She is a Member of IEEE.
