Devin R de Zwaan

I study full annual cycle drivers of life-history variation for songbirds breeding in stochastic habitats, like the alpine. I use theory and field research to investigate flexible life-history strategies, predation risk and migratory behaviours, as well as larger questions like spatial variation in bird communities. My questions tend to involve the interface between behavioural ecology and conservation. My main passion is ornithology, but I am open to expanding my research into different taxa.
