I research the structure of materials using XRD techniques, from simple quantitative phase analysis, measurement of residual stresses in metals... to more complex analyses for thin films and heterostructures. I perform in situ measurements (-180C to 500C) and ultra-fast RSMs (in 3 minutes or less), which are especially interesting for analyzing the kinetics of phase transitions.
