Yolanda Garcia Mesa

Yolanda Garcia Mesa (nurse, PhD student) currently works at the Department of Cell Biology and Morphology, University of Oviedo. Yolanda does research in Anatomy, Morphology and Molecular Biology. Their most recent publication is 'Merkel cells and Meissner's corpuscles in human digital skin display Piezo2 immunoreactivity'. We are a laboratory specialized in morphological techniques, highlighting immunohistochemistry, with more than 20 years of experience. Actually, we are immersed in several studies, following our line of research in the peripheral nervous system, in various pathologies, such as diabetic neuropathy, multiple sclerosis, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis and Alzheimer's.
