Petr Vorobev (Member, IEEE) received the Ph.D. degree in theoretical physics from the Landau Institute for Theoretical Physics, Moscow, Russia, in 2010. From 2015 to 2018, he was a Postdoctoral Associate with the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge, MA, USA. Since 2019, he has been an Assistant Professor with the Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology, Moscow, Russia. His research interests include a broad range of topics related to power system dynamics and control. This covers low-frequency oscillations in power systems, dynamics of power system components, multi-timescale approaches to power system modeling, development of plug-and-play control architectures for microgrids.
