I am an Associate Professor at the Institute of Human and Information Sciences, at the Federal University of Rio Grande (ICHI-FURG), in Brazil. I also coordinate the Laboratory for Evolutionary and Experimental Archaeology and Prehistory. My research expertise is lithic technology, experimental archaeology, hunter-gatherers and evolutionary archaeology with focus in the early occupation of the Americas (especially South America). I have also focused in popular science of archaeology.
