I am interested in sustainable chemistry to make the chemical reactions in environmental conditions (green chemistry, less toxicity, recyclable, natural and eco-friendly).
To achieve these goals, I have been working on solvents which have these potentials.
ionic liquids – deep eutectic solvents – supercritical CO2.
I have worked with synthesizing ionic liquids (ILs) to decrease the cost of preparation of ILs. Therefore, new cheap ILs can solve the concerns of economic problem of these applied solvents.
Tuning the new ILs and DESs for biomass and chemical reactions is my favorite goal.
My works include measuring the properties of mixed solvents (ILs or DESs with organic solvents) for separation goals. This part of my research includes solute-solvent and solvent-solvent interactions both in experimental and theoretical research.
MD simulations with GROMACS and DFT calculations were used to understand the interactions in complex media.
To experience the gas phases, I was working in the laboratory of supercritical fluids, and I became known with the mixtures of ILs/DESs with sCO2 for separation goals.
To get updated on current organic synthesis and investigation the effects of solvents on reactions, I was working in the laboratories of organic stereochemistry in Austria. I worked with NMR, HPLC, and MS for analyses of synthesized products. Also, we investigated which solvent comes to a higher yield for our reactions.
My research covers a broad area of chemistry (organic chemistry, physical chemistry, and chemical engineering) and partly in biology (we synthesized novel solvents which had a good solubility for carbohydrates, drug delivery, etc.)
Now, I am interested in applying ILs/DESs for reactions (hydroamination of alkenes, drug delivery, sCO2 + ILs, CO2 capture, etc.).
