Robert Bingham

Robert Bingham received the B. Sc.(Hons.) degree from the University of Strathclyde, Scotland, U.K., in 1972, and the M. Sc. and D. Phil. degrees in plasma physics in 1973 and 1976, respectively, from the University of Oxford, Oxford, U.K. He was a Research Scientist at Culham Laboratory, U.K., Ecole Polytechnique, Lausanne, Switzerland, and the Laboratory for Laser Energetics, Rochester, NY. Currently, he is an Individual Merit Scientist at the Rutherford Appleton Laboratory, Oxfordshire, U.K., working on plasma turbulence, plasma-based accelerators, and neutrino astrophysics.
