Professor Lee’s research is at the frontiers of neuropsychology and human neuroscience. Her team is dedicated to unravelling the neuroplastic mechanisms underpinning adaptive and maladaptive cognitive and affective functioning across the life span. Her current research focuses on factors protecting brain and psychological health.

Psychological resilience and mental wellness: Effects of internal neurobiological affective and external social support systems (support by Research Grant Council- Collaborative Research Fund)
Intervention strategies for depression (supported by the Science and Technology Program of Guangdong)
Loneliness and late-life depression (supported by the May Endowed Professorship in Neuropsychology)
