Ahmed Hemeida received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees from the Department of Electrical Power and Engineering, Cairo University, Giza, Egypt, in 2009 and 2012, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree from the Department of Electrical Energy, Metals, Mechanical Constructions and Systems, Ghent University, Ghent, Belgium, in 2017. Afterward, he has worked as a Post-Doctoral Research Assistant with the Department of Electrical Engineering, Aalto University, Espoo, Finland. He is currently working as an Assistant Professor with the Department of Electrical Engineering, Cairo University. His research interests include the modeling, control, and design of electrical machines.
