Career Trajectory
Bio
My clinical research has been focused, but not limited to, application of 3D imaging for navigation of percutaneous interventions in congenital heart defects. Since 2010 I have been working on techniques for 3D guidance for cardiac catheterizations including 3D Rotational Angiography (3DRA) and fusion of computed tomography or magnetic resonance imaging 3D datasets (Fusion Imaging). During my Fulbright Senior Award scholarship at Colorado Children's Hospital, USA, I am working on advancement of segmentation and registration protocols of pre-catheter imaging for 3D guidance of cardiac catheterizations. I have been dedicated to teaching of students at Medical University of Lodz. I am the founder of students Science Circle for Congenital Heart Disease (SC4CHD, facebook.com/Sc4chd).
