Glen Pyle is a Professor and Assistant Chair in the Department of Biomedical Sciences at the University of Guelph. His laboratory is interested in heart failure, from molecule to whole animal. His group works on projects including naturally occurring dilated cardiomyopathy in Doberman Pinschers; sex differences in heart function and disease, with a focus on menopausal changes in the heart; and has developed a novel therapeutic intervention that protects against myocardial infarctions.
