In't Zandt René

René in 't Zandt was born in Eindhoven, The Netherlands, in 1970. He finished his M.Sc. degree in physics at the Radboud University Nijmegen, Nijmegen, The Netherlands, in 1995. In 2000 he received his Ph.D. degree after successfully defending his thesis “Plasticity of energy metabolism in creatine kinase deficient mice: An in vivo MR spectroscopy study.” After a 2-year postdoctoral stint in Leuven, Belgium, he moved to Sweden in 2002. Currently, he is sharing his time between a position as MR physicist at the Lund University Bioimaging Center, Lund University, Lund, and as preclinical imaging director at Geccodots AB, a fully owned subsidiary of Genovis AB, Lund.
