Gerald Hechenblaikner

Gerald Hechenblaikner received the master’s degree in physics from the University of Innsbruck, Innsbruck, Austria, in 1997, and the Ph.D. degree in physics from the University of Oxford, Oxford, U.K., in 2003. After post-doctoral studies at the University of Oxford and the University of Harvard, Cambridge, MA, USA, he joined Airbus (formerly EADS Astrium), in 2005, where he has been working as a Systems Engineer in the fields of satellite navigation systems and optical instrumentation. His main research interests include optical precision measurement systems and technologies in general and interferometric systems in particular.
