I am interested in generative models that embrace compositionality with minimal supervision and are capable of systematic and productive generalization with respect to the data they were trained on. More broadly, I am interested in all aspects of machine learning that may be relevant for building human-like general intelligence and for addressing difficult challenges in any application area that has the potential to make a positive long-term impact on humanity.
