Sumit Kumar Pramanick (Member, IEEE) received the B.E. degree in electrical engineering from the Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology at Shibpur, Howrah, India, in 2011, and the M.Tech. degree in electronic systems engineering and the Ph.D. degree in power electronics and machine drives from the Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru, India, in 2013 and 2017, respectively. He has worked as a Post-Doctoral Fellow with the Power Electronics, Microgrids and Subsea Electrical Systems (PEMSES) Center, University of Houston, Houston, TX, USA, from 2016 to 2018. He is currently an Assistant Professor with the Department of Electrical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology at Delhi, New Delhi, India, where he joined in 2018. His research interests include multilevel converter, active filters, machine drives, and high-frequency power conversion.
