Bio
Fishes are fascinating animals whose diet, habitat use, growth and abundance can reflect the structure and function of aquatic ecosystems they live in. My research applies stable isotopes and large-scale space-for-time models to study e.g. food webs and trophic ecology of salmonids in subarctic and alpine lakes, environmental impacts of hydropower operations and invasive species, as well as individual specialization and habitat coupling.
